the Solferino Restaurant is ideal for those who live in downtown Turin and is perfectly suited for all kinds of customers.
Positioned in the center of major tourist sites and major hotels, it is certainly suitable for those who enjoy strolling the streets of downtown and having a leisurely meal overlooking one of Turin’s most beautiful squares.
Not only that, the Solferino has always been a landmark in the Turin area for business lunches and dinners in addition to being the right choice for ceremonies and events of various kinds.
The Turin Restaurant inside consists of an elegant main hall and a more intimate and intimate side room.
Our menu can count on the choice of more than 40 dishes that follow seasonality and territoriality of products, prepared expressly by the hands of our internationally experienced chefs, always respecting tradition.
Historicity
Solferino’s long history of more than 60 years is a “guarantee” for new patrons and regulars alike, creating a trait d’union between different generations.
Take as an example the 10-year-old grandson who used to come to Solferino in the 1990s with his grandfather and parents. In his twenties he came for dinner with his first partner or friends to celebrate his birthday.
That young man today is 30 years old and comes with his son, parents, and if he is lucky maybe still with his grandparents!
This creates an important emotional bond with the Restaurant, which becomes for people a “place of memories” even more than just a “place to enjoy good food.”
It will probably be the same for his son (and we hope to still be here to see him grow up as well….

Ours has always been a cuisine of substance marked by Piedmontese and particularly Turinese traditions nowadays often forgotten.
A footprint of classic cuisine, linked to typical Piedmontese cuisine and seasonality, careful not to age while keeping up with new trends and customer needs.
Classicity, typicality, modernity, quality of raw material and consistency in the standard of the product offered.
The completeness of a varied menu of meat, fish and vegetables; with the goal of always putting the customer in a position to find the dish that satisfies him or her.
The more than 30 dishes on the menu are able to satisfy all types of palates and increasingly varied dietary needs. From vegetarians to celiacs, every request will be accommodated by our chefs who bring all their experience gained through years of passion and research in the kitchen.
Even our regular customers see in us a real point of reference… They range from “battuta di carne cruda di Fassone” to “Ovuli Reali” salad, from “Tajarin ai funghi Porcini” to “Agnolotti di bue al sugo d’arrosto”… and again…
…il “Brasato al Barolo”, a symbolic dish together with “Ravioli del Plin” of the Piedmontese food and wine tradition…
Not to mention the White Truffle of Alba, available only and exclusively during its season. The famous “Tuber Magnatum” can be tasted on delicate “Fondues” freshly prepared or if you prefer, sliced as tradition dictates, on “Eggs al Paletto” cooked in terracotta cocotte.
